Monet, Degas, and Van Gogh were deeply influenced by Japanese prints, newly accessible in the mid-19th century. Study the impact of their compositions in your own Impressionist painting. Offered in conjunction with the exhibition The Impressionists: Master Paintings from the Art Institute of Chicago.
